Southern Wisconsin Authorities Search For Armed Home Invader

Authorities in Green County are searching for a man who entered an occupied home Thursday at about 5:45 p-m.  A woman says she was home alone when an armed man walked in through an unlocked door.  She says he asked her where her valuables were, searched a bedroom and got away with jewelry and cash.  Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Office, its police dog and the Monroe Police Department searched the area.  They were able to follow tracks to a point where the suspect apparently got into a vehicle and left.
