Milwaukee Mother Charged With Child Neglect In 14-Year-Old’s Death

She wouldn’t give doctors consent to perform surgery on her dying 14-year-old daughter, so a Milwaukee woman is now charged with child neglect causing death.  Teenager Amina Krouser got sick while living in a filthy home without heat or running water last month.  Before she died, her mother, Aziyza Ababneh (uh ZEE zuh – uh BOB nay) had beaten her for soiling her bed and had done nothing to help her when she had seizures.  The girl had contracted an infection which spread to her brain.  She died December 10th.
