Accident on I-43 near Maribel

The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department responded to an accident on I-43 near Maribel at around 5:15 yesterday afternoon. Details surrounding the accident are not known at this time, but what we do know is that southbound traffic was diverted around the area for around two hours. Traffic was rerouted into the nearby rest area and back onto the highway out the other side of the same rest area. As we receive more information we will pass it on to you.
