Fatal Accident in Sheboygan County

There was a fatal accident on Highway 57 outside of Adell in Sheboygan County yesterday afternoon. An unnamed 63 year old woman was traveling south when she suffered a medical emergency, causing her vehicle to veer into the median, strike a sign, cross back across the southbound lanes, and come to rest after striking a patch of trees. The woman was flown via Theda Star to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. Following their initial investigation, deputies from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department believe it was the medical emergency, not the crash, that resulted in her death.
