1 Of 2 Men Accused Of Hiding Corpse Convicted

A Barron County jury has found one of two men accused of hiding a corpse guilty of obstruction and theft from a person.  Mike Wojciechowski is scheduled to be sentenced March 2nd.  Prosecutors had told the court he and Ricky Saastad were smoking meth with Mark Johnson when Johnson died of natural causes.  They said Wojciechowski put the body in Johnson’s car and parked it on the side of a road.  Saastad entered a guilty plea to charges he had been maintaining a drug trafficking place.  He’s on probation for three years.
