SLC Opens “The Art of Daithi” Exhibit

Silver Lake College has opened a new art exhibit. “The Art of Daithi: Visual Language” opened up on Monday and will run until February 23^rd. Daithi is a Wisconsin artist, who’s work is, according to associate professor of art at Silver Lake College Erin LaBonte, . “At first glance, the images are somewhat overwhelming and chaotic, which is part of their intrigue. I think this body of work is really going to transform the gallery space. I’m looking forward to spending more time with the works and learning about Daithi’s subject matter as well as his intuitive application of medium.” The exhibit is available to view from 8:30AM to 4:30 PM , Mondays through Fridays, in the Du Charme Erdmann Gallery on campus, 2406 S. Alverno Road in Manitowoc.
