A 69- year- old Green Bay man suffered “non-life” threatening injuries as the result of a three-vehicle accident late this morning in Manitowoc County. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department says around 11 am the man was driving in the right northbound lane near County Highway XX behind a semitrailer and a dump truck while a county snowplow was clearing snow in the left northbound lane. When he tried to pass he struck the blade of the snowplow and then hit the semi-trailer. The Green Bay man was transported via “flight for life” helicopter to a Menasha hospital for treatment. No one else was hurt. Traffic was rerouted for about an hour for clean-up of debris and the crash remains under investigation by the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department.
