The Manitowoc Company brought one of it’s former employees to court , and the employee walked away victorious. John Lanning was accused of violating an employment agreement, stating he would not solicit or encourage any other employee to end their employment with the company, or provide a job reference to any employee looking for employment with a competitor. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled in favor of Lanning on Friday, which upheld a State Court of Appeals ruling.
