A house fire in Pittsfield leaves the homeowner dead. The Pulaski Tri-County Fire Department says a home was engulfed in flames when emergency responders arrived on the scene Friday morning. The fire appears to have started in a kitchen area on the first floor, spreading to the home’s second floor. The victim’s name hasn’t been released and investigators say he lived alone. The home was destroyed. More than 40 firefighters from multiple departments responded and the Wisconsin Fire Marshal’s Office is leading the investigation.
