The teen that disappeared from Bellevue last Thursday has returned home safely. Authorities believed Kasey Vang was taken by an unknown man for human trafficking purposes. According to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, over the course of several hours Wednesday evening, “relatives were able to reach out to Kasey and facilitate her return to the area.” Sheriff’s officials officially announced that Kasey was home safely at around 7:30 last night. Sheriff’s Lt. Jim Valley said that Kasey and her sister were previously seen in Milwaukee, but “weren’t necessarily kidnapped or taken. We believe that they possibly knew this individual through some means and went with him down to that area.”
