Fatal New Holstein Shooting

A 19 year old New Holstein man is dead after suffering from a gunshot wound Saturday evening. The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting the incident at a residence on County Highway Q at around 11:45 PM. Upon arrival to the scene, officials found the man with a gunshot wounds, and he was flown via Flight for Life to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center. He was pronounced dead on arrival. The investigation is ongoing, but authorities do not believe the public is in any danger.
