Color Craft Graphic Arts will double its’ plant size by this summer in the Manitowoc I-Tech (eye’-tek) Industrial Park. Steve Mirecki (mer-eck’-ee)…President of the company at 5631 West Drive..says the new addition of 40-thousand square feet is being handled by Hamann Construction. Mirecki tells Seehafer News that the project is a partnership involving Jeff Deprez (doo-pray’) of Great Lakes Training & Development Corporation and First Capital Partners.

Steve Heinen (high’-nen) of first capital partners..which works with clients in ‘big ten country’..said they ‘identified an opportunity for them to make an investment in the (Color Craft) company.’

Mirecki…..says they currently employ around 65-fulltime & 15 ‘temporary’ employees…“but, if ten qualified people walked in today..he would hire them.”

The expansion will bring the company on West Drive to about 85-thousand square feet when it’s completed sometime in June. Steve Mirecki bought the business from Tom Foster in 2011..and since that time & thru 2016…they’ve just about doubled in business volume in private packaging label folding cartons for clients like Mr. Coffee & Hawaiian Punch…among others.
