A 19-year-old Eagle River man has entered not guilty pleas to two felony charges connected to an accidental fatal shooting last September. Jeremiah Fox Solis was showing off a new pistol he had bought at a gun show. Solis told investigators he thought it was unloaded when he pulled the trigger and killed 20-year-old Connor Stephens with a bullet to the chest. Solis admitted he had smoked marijuana before the accident. Solis faces charges of homicide by firearm with a controlled substance and homicide by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon.
