It’s not overly cold right now, but as we dive deeper into winter, the mercury will drop. This weekend, temperatures are forecast to begin to creep closer and closer to the 0 degree mark. Everyone knows to put of a coat, hat and gloves, but what about your pet? While they are covered in a permanent jacket, the pads on their feet are not, and can freeze. Also, the use of salt can eat away at the pads, causing pain for your beloved pet. Putting a coat and boots on your pet is a good idea, especially if they will be outside for an extended period of time. Just remember if you are cold, they are cold.
