On 12-15-17 the Brown County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) took reports of two residential burglaries that both occurred in the Village of Bellevue, while the occupants were out of the home. It is not yet known if these two burglaries are related or not. Investigators are continuing to review collected physical evidence to assist in making that determination as well as any information leading to the identification of the subject(s) involved in the burglary.
Investigators were able to recover surveillance video from inside one of the victim’s residence that captured the burglar. The quality of the images is admittedly not great but it is believed that they depict substantial enough detail to assist with identification. This crime has had a negative impact upon the involved victim(s), invoking fear and great concern. Investigators are now looking for the public’s assistance in reviewing the attached images depicting the burglar and encourage anyone with any information about these crimes and/or the identity of the pictured individual to contact the BCSO.
