Two suspects taken into custody for a stabbing in Two Rivers last night appeared for bail hearings this afternoon in Manitowoc County Circuit Court. 23 year old Javonte Rogers and 30 year old Ashley Monroy, both of Two Rivers, are charged with armed robbery with use of a dangerous weapon. Two Rivers Police and Fire Department Personnel responded shortly after 7:30 last night to a southside residence for a report of a stabbing. An initial investigation indicates the incident is possibly drug related. Rogers and the victim – a 29 year old Manitowoc man – suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to a local hospital where they were treated & released. Upon release, Rogers along with Monroy were taken into custody. Bail is set at $3000 cash for Rogers and $1500 cash for Monroy with both scheduled for initial appearances January 8th.
