Emergency repairs were made yesterday afternoon on Franklin Street between South 15th and 16th streets ion Manitowoc following a water main break. According to Pete Dollhopf, the Water Distribution Superintendent for Manitowoc Public Utilities, Franklin was reopened to traffic by late yesterday afternoon, with cones placed around the Excavation site for the overnight hours. Dollhopf explained traffic will return to normal today after crews install a temporary patch on the street surface over the water main break excavation.
