Rock County Sheriff’s Office Will Handle Suspicious Death Of Woman

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office will take over the case of a Milwaukee woman whose body was found in South Beloit, Illinois.  Investigators say evidence shows Nakiela A. Thompson actually died in the Town of Beloit, Wisconsin.  The 27-year-old woman’s body was found in the Road Ranger truck stop parking lot November 1st.  An official cause of death hasn’t been released.  South Beloit police — while announcing Thompson had died across the state line — said autopsy results are still pending.
