While being pounded with 9” of snow yesterday, there were a few complications in Manitowoc. South 8th Street between Jay and Franklin Streets was closed down, due to a portion of a three story building breaking loose. Pieces were hanging precariously, and the road will likely remain closed until around noon today. Also, a 50 year old man lost control of his vehicle, and ended up in Lake Michigan, near the Manitowoc Yacht Club. Officers were driving by the lake, when they noticed a pair of people arguing. When they stopped to confront the pair, they were told about the vehicle. The vehicle remained in the lake until conditions improved. Total snowfall numbers from around the area include 7.5” in Two Rivers, 7.4” in Green Bay, 6.5” in Mishicot, and 2.5” in Sheboygan.
