Sheboygan Man Charged After Knife Attack

A 57 year old Sheboygan man was taken into police custody following an incident on Sunday. Mark Kautzer allegedly threatened a man with two knives. The victim claimed to have been living with Kautzer’s sister for about a week in a south side Sheboygan residence. The victim says after Kautzer threatened to kill him, he went to get his belongings with the intention of leaving the home, but Kautzer threatened him again – this time with knives, slashing at him during a scuffle, which left the victim with injuries to his hands and his head. Kautzer is facing charges of felony second-degree recklessly endangering safety, and could face 5 years in prison if he’s convicted.
