Mother Who Killed 2-Year-Old Son Will Go To Mental Institution

A Sheboygan County Circuit Court judge has found a 28-year-old mother not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect in the killing of her two-year-old son. Katlyn Kinateder will be committed to a state mental institution after Wednesday’s verdict.  Sheboygan Falls police surrounded her home after Kinateder called to report the murder last year.  Dexter Kinateder’s body was found under some boxes in a storage bin.  She returns to court later this month to determine her course of treatment.
