A 13-million dollar waterfront project in Green Bay still needs a positive vote from the City Council next week before it can get underway. Called “The Shipyard,” it would include an outdoor events center and a renovated neighborhood along the banks of the Fox River. Mayor Jim Schmitt says if the project doesn’t get the green light next Tuesday, Green Bay will lose out. He calls the decision “make-or-break.” The business plan has four specific parts and city leaders say, if one doesn’t work out, the whole idea could collapse.
