No One Injured In Jefferson County Barn Fires

Fire officials say no injuries were reported in an overnight barn fire in Jefferson County. Television station W-K-O-W reports that the Cambridge Fire Department says the call came in at around 12:36 A-M. Firefighters responded to two barns on fire on Mullen Lane in the town of Oakland. Cambridge firefighters had to request aid from fire departments in Fort Atkinson, Johnson Creek, Lake Mills and Edgerton to get control of the fires. There were reports some animals may have been in the barn, but the department wasn’t sure if they got out. There was hay in both barns. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
