A man hailing from Menasha was in Appleton when he was arrested after dragging a police officer along the side of his vehicle Saturday evening. 46 year old Jason Lee was seen driving recklessly in a parking ramp by an officer doing a routine foot patrol. The officer attempted to stop Lee, but according to reports, he intentionally continued to drive. When he did eventually stop, he was instructed to shut the vehicle off. He did not, and when the officer approached the vehicle, he accelerated, dragging the officer. The officer was able to free himself, suffering minor injuries in the process, and broadcast the information on the vehicle. Lee was eventually captured, and charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety, fifth offense drunk driving, resisting or obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct, battery to law officers and fleeing or eluding an officer.
