A new 100-thousand square foot mozzarella cheese manufacturing plant in Denmark will mean 50 new jobs for the Brown County economy. BelGioioso Cheese officials say they get their milk from Wisconsin farmers to ensure the “freshest, highest quality” product possible. The family-owned business started in 1979. It now employs more than 700 workers at nine plants. The founder, Errico Auricchio, says the biggest growth came after the introduction of fresh mozzarella in 1984.
