New York Sex Offender Indicted For Sex Trip to Shawano

A 45-year-old convicted sex offender from New York has been indicted on charges of sexually exploiting a minor and enticing the minor to engage in illicit sexual activity. Federal prosecutors say James A. Huskisson traveled from New York to Shawano intending to have sex with a minor last September.  An administrator at Wolf River Lutheran School in Shawano first contacted the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office September 26th to report a suspicious vehicle with New York plates sitting in the school parking lot.  By the time deputies arrived, the vehicle was gone.  A few days later the administrator reached out again to report the victim was in a relationship with the man in the suspicious vehicle.  She admitted using two cell phones to communicate with him.  Huskisson was arrested near his home in New York City’s Queens borough.
