A Fond du Lac man has been sent to jail on a ten-thousand-dollar bond for causing a drunk driving crash that killed a pedestrian. Fifty-one-year-old Peter Anderson is charged with homicide by drunk driving and causing death by driving without a license. Officials say Anderson’s vehicle struck and killed Jeffrey Koenigs early last Saturday morning at a downtown Fond du Lac intersection — and Koenigs was hit so hard, he flew above the offending vehicle before landing on the pavement. Prosecutors say it’s at least the second time Anderson had an alcohol related conviction. He’s due back in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court next Thursday for a preliminary hearing.
