Tomahawk’s police chief says a 32-year-old Wausau man could not explain why he shot a friend in the victim’s driveway. Chief Al Elvins says Eric Moen waited for 52-year-old Charles Ramp to come home Thursday, and then reportedly shot at him four times. A bond hearing was held for Moen this (Friday) morning, where he was sent to jail on one-million-dollars bond pending a possible Lincoln County charge of first degree intentional homicide. Chief Elvins says some of the gunfire hit Moen’s house, and bullet debris struck one of the two people inside who was not hurt seriously. Officials say Moen traveled to western Wisconsin after the incident. He was arrested at Lake Hallie in Chippewa County.
