Victims Identified In Waupaca County Murder/Suicide

Two people killed in a murder/suicide in Waupaca County have been identified as 51-year-old John Cummings and his 32-year-old wife Cori. Officials say the couple was separated, and they drove their own vehicles to a parking lot near Royalton on Tuesday. Sheriff Brad Hardel says they were in Cori Cummings’ unit when John — who got in as a passenger — shot his wife multiple times before turning the gun on himself. The vehicle then pulled onto Highway 110 where it veered into a ditch and hit a tree. A passing motorist called 9-1-1 to report it as a traffic accident.
