An Appleton man has been taken into police custody after allegedly placing cameras in a friend’s bathroom and bedroom, and also in the bathroom at the Target in the Fox River Mall. A friend of 28 year old Andrew Petersen told police that she believed he had posted a nude photo of her online without her consent, and claimed the photo appeared to be taken in her bathroom. A search of Petersen’s home uncovered a number of storage devices containing photos from the friend’s bathroom and bedroom, as well as several from inside the restroom at the Target location. Petersen is facing a multitude of charges including ten counts of Capturing an Intimate Representation without Consent.
