A 37- year-old Kiel man facing several related drug charges is free on a $20 thousand recognizance bond. Kurt Evenson charges include possession of methamphetamine waste—possession of methamphetamine making paraphernalia—possession of marijuana and felony bail jumping. Manitowoc County Metro Drug investigators received information last Friday that there was drug related activity at a property on Tompkins Road near St. Nazianz. A search warrant was executed by officers on a motor home parked at the property and they discovered items indicating methamphetamine manufacturing on location. Lt. Dave Remiker says a hazardous material company from Chicago was brought in to conduct the “appropriate clean-up” and all occupants were removed from the motor home. Conditions of bail are that Evenson have “no contact” with any drug users or dealers—possess no firearms and maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol.
