Milwaukee’s main downtown arena will not be imploded after the final event is held there next summer. The Milwaukee Bucks, the main tenant at the Bradley Center, say they’ve hired a Minneapolis firm to manually take down the 30-year-old arena. Veit and Company will take about one year to dismantle the Bradley Center after Northwestern Mutual Life holds its annual convention there in mid-2018. Officials say the Bradley Center is too close to the new Bucks’ arena to be imploded. That 524-million-dollar facility will open next fall just north of the Bradley Center. The new arena is connected to a new practice facility that’s already open.
