Manitowoc Mayor’s Budget Remains Top Talking Point

The Manitowoc Finance Committee will be meeting twice this week, with the top point of discussion being Mayor Justin Nickels’ proposed 2018 budget. Those meetings will be tonight at 6:15, and Thursday night at 6:00. Other important meetings include the Manitowoc Public Library meeting tonight and the Manitowoc County Human Services Board meeting on Thursday at 4:45 PM. Item s on the Library meeting include a review of administrative reports, an update on virtual library cards and discussion on the policy for lost and unattended children. The Human Services Board will have a presentation on the Alternative Response Program approach in Child Protective Services, and will discuss financial statistical reports through September.
