Green Bay City Council Approves $11M Riverfront Development

Boat docks, a playground and a recreational path would all be part of an 11-million dollar development planned for Green Bay’s west-side riverfront.  The city council approved the agreement for what is being called the Shipyard project.  It would include a stadium, an indoor concert venue and restaurant.  Construction on the stadium would be completed by March 2019, but the concert venue and restaurant would likely be ready sooner than that.  Construction at the location would start by next September.
