Milwaukee police are looking for burglars who used the head from the statue of the Virgin Mary to break into a church early Thursday morning. They broke in through a window at St. Gregory the Great Catholic School on the city’s southwest side at about 1:30 a-m. Investigators say they ransacked the parish offices, tore down a giant wooden rosary and destroyed it. Pages were ripped from a Bible and several radios were taken. A school official says the items which were destroyed represent their faith at the Milwaukee Catholic school. No arrests have been made.
