Manitowoc Police: Teen Tried Killing Girl, But Gun Didn’t Go Off

Manitowoc Police say an 18-year-old man put a gun to a girl’s head Wednesday night and pulled the trigger — but the weapon didn’t go off. W-L-U-K T-V says the alleged shooter was arrested at his home where officers found two loaded handguns, and he could face charges that include attempted second degree intentional homicide. Reports say the intended victim got away with another teen’s assistance — and the suspect also pointed a gun at another juvenile before that person drove away. Manitowoc Police say they’re seeking public tips on what happened and why.
