Four piano students from Silver Lake College have been selected to present at the Wisconsin Teachers Music Association State Conference on Oct. 20-21 in Madison, as part of the student track. Seniors Emily Cattani of Manitowoc, Lydia Matthews of Kiel and Beverly Mark of Two Rivers, as well as sophomore Kelly Koeppen of St. Nazianz are all piano students of Dr. Diana Shapiro and Dr. Stanislava Varshavski. Dr. Shapiro said. “This event is an opportunity to put piano and Silver Lake College’s music program on the state map.”
