After a long, drawn out legal process, Kohler will finally see Aurora Health Care build a new $324 million medical facility. While Aurora wanted to build on the “Field of Dreams” property, which was owned by the Sheboygan Area School District, they finally settled on a plot of land just south of UW Sheboygan. The land is owned by the Village of Kohler, and the Village board unanimously voted to approve the development. Aurora hopes to have the facility up and running by 2021.
