A student was arrested on a charge of Making Terroristic Threats yesterday after the resource officer at Lincoln High School received information about a threat to the school. Manitowoc Police Lieutenant, Jeremy Kronforst, said the threat found written on a bathroom stall was vague, but indicated it would occur today. Police Detectives and public school staff members began an investigation and identified a possible suspect. The student was brought in for questioning, and confessed to writing the threat. Kronforst said it is believed that the student acted alone, and no other suspects are being sought. Manitowoc Police say they take threats of violence towards out schools and children very seriously, will investigate them, and will pursue charges to the fullest extent of the law.
