A statewide crime alert has been issued following a major theft incident at a Green Bay car dealership early yesterday. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that thieves targeted Dorsch Ford, near I-43 in the village of Bellevue, sometime between midnight & 3:30am. Ten…trucks & suv’s were put up on blocks & all the tires/rims were stolen..for an estimated loss of 60-and-72,000 dollars. A 2017 white Ford van…valued at approximately $34,000 was also stolen from the lot by forcibly opening a lockbox on the window of the vehicle. It’s believed the stolen van may’ve been used to transport the stolen 20-and-22-inch rims from the crime scene. Dorsch Ford is going to offer a $2500-dollar reward for any information leading to the arrest & conviction of those responsible for the early morning crime.
