The South 8th Street Bridge over the Sheboygan River will undergo rehabilitation starting today. The hydraulic system will receive a majority of the work , with modifications, and repairs slated to be done. Concrete pavement repairs, concrete sidewalk replacement and painting are also included according to Sheboygan’s Department of Public Works. Single lane closures begin today and will run through December. In late October, South 8th Street will be closed to all traffic between Indiana Avenue and Riverfront Drive for two weeks. Work is expected to be completed in late April of 2018.
