In the early morning hours on Friday, a Manitowoc man was arrested after he attacked his girlfriend. Officers responded to the 1100 block of South 14th Street just after midnight, after a woman called, stating her boyfriend left the residence with his hand gun to get bullets. The man allegedly strangled, and struck the woman, and was threatening to shoot her. The man is facing charges of Strangulation, Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
