A former supper club near Menchalville is deemed a total loss after catching fire early this morning.
The Menchalville Fire Department was called to the fire just before the Reedsville Fire Department was called around 3:30 this morning (January 24th).
When fire crews first arrived, Reedsville Fire Chief Jason Schuh said heavy fire was found in the building at the intersection of County Trunk K and NN.
Firefighters aggressively attacked the structure’s west side, but it became unstable, and fire crews were moved to the outside.
An excavator pulled the building apart so fire crews could extinguish the fire. Manitowoc County firefighters remained on scene for several hours.
What caused the fire is still undetermined. There was no report of injuries.
