The Manitowoc County Fair is only a couple of months away, and they are accepting applications for this year’s Fairest of the Fair.
The Fairest of the Fair is the official ambassador for the Manitowoc County Fair, and will attend parades, and speaking engagements, and will attend and participate in the Fair, which is scheduled for August 25th through the 29th.
We spoke with Lydia Luebke, the current Fairest of the Fair, who explained who is eligible for the title.
“Applications are due August 1st,” she explained. “You need to be at least 18 years of age by January 1st of 2023, and reside in Manitowoc County or an adjoining County, as long as most of your school or Fair events are in [Manitowoc] County.”
The competition will take place on August 28th.
