The Green Bay Police Department has reported that Animal Control is trying to locate a dog that bit a 6 year old child on Tuesday. Just before 7 pm, an Animal control Intern responded to a dog bite in the 1500 BLK of Ellis St. The intern learned that a six-year-old child was playing outside when a white Pitbull dog bit the child in the ear. The dog was accompanied by a young girl who kept walking eastbound Ellis Street.
Animal Control is now looking to locate the Pitbull and its owner. There are strict quarantine requirements for animal bites. In order to investigate the bite, The Green Bay PD is asking for the communities help in locating the animal.
