A woman who works at Milwaukee Water Commons is getting credit for keeping a nine-year-old girl safe after she wandered away from her school. The good Samaritan named Anne spotted the girl walking alone Monday, invited her inside the office and stayed with her until her mother could pick the child up. Autumn Burris had left her Tamarack Waldorf School at about noon. Milwaukee police say school officials called them shortly after the girl went missing. She turned up an hour later.
