The Green Bay Gamblers Hockey team held their annual Military Night game on Sunday, and were able to raise a whopping $40,000 for the Disabled American Veterans. Every single penny that was raised came from the proceeds at the game, as well as the helmet and Jersey auctions held after the game. The ceremonial puck drip was performed by four Vietnam Veterans, from each of the four major branches of the military, who received a Purple Heart during their active service. After celebrating those who previously served, around 100 people took their Oath of Enlistment at center ice during the 1st intermission. The icing on the cake? The Gamblers stomped the Madison Capitols 8-1.
