Charges have officially been filed against 29 year old Andrea Mullens of Sheboygan for her involvement in the overdose death of 30 year old Matthew Mercure. Mercure’s body was found in a crawlspace on November 20th in Mullens’ home after police were informed of the death. According to a witness, Mercure arrived at the home the morning of November 17th, and began to use heroin. After he passed out, Mullens administered Narcan, and CPR. When he woke up, Mullens injected more of the drug into Mercure’s arm. After Mercure died, Mullens forced the witness to help move the body to the crawlspace, under threat of injecting him with the same needle. Mullens’ home was a well-known drug den in the community of users, as she would regularly have heroin, meth, and Xanax available. Bond was set at $100,000 for Mullens and she is facing four felony charges.
