A 30-year-old Milwaukee man faces multiple charges after a vehicle pursuit in Manitowoc earlier this morning. Jeremiah Tremaine Dangerfield Sr. is charged with felony fleeing and recklessly endangering safety and cited for reckless driving, unreasonable and imprudent speed and operating after suspension. Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputy Inspector Jason Orth tells Seehafer News that just after 1:30 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a vehicle on Calumet Avenue near Dewey Street. The operator fled eastbound on Calumet with speeds reaching up to 93 miles-per-hour. When he tried to negotiate the curb west of South 26th Street he crossed over it into the grassy median and through both lanes of traffic. Three of the four tires sustained damage causing Dangerfield’s vehicle to come to rest in a parking lot on South 26th where he promptly exited and fled on foot, only to be apprehended a short time later by Officer K-9 Major in the 1000 block of South 25th Street and taken into custody. Bail was set this afternoon at $3000 recognizance bond with an initial appearance scheduled for December 17th at 2:30.
