Authorities say a Fond du Lac man was killed in a crash with a semi Wednesday night. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office say the crash happened at around 8:15 P-M on Highway 45 in the Township of Eden. Investigators say 26-year-old Shawn Hoerth was driving a pickup when he crossed the center line and hit a semi. Deputies say the pickup hit the front passenger side tire of the semi. Hoerth was ejected from the pickup. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say Hoerth was not wearing a seat belt. Officers say the driver of the semi, Mohamed Ahmed of Nashville, Tennessee, was not hurt.
